The National ME/FM Action Network is very pleased to pass on the news that Dr. Luis Nacul has been appointed the new medical director and research director at the Complex Chronic Diseases Program (CCDP) in British Columbia. 

Dr. Luis Nacul is an internationally renowned clinician and researcher.  He was Clinical Associate Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), London, UK. Dr. Nacul has a broad experience in epidemiology and public health. He was principal investigator for CureME in the UK. He led the UK ME/CFS Biobank and NIH funded Longitudinal Immunological and Virological Study for ME/CFS Biomarker Discovery project. 

Dr Nacul is a very welcome addition to the CCDP. We are optimistic that his appointment will lead to improved treatment, research and international collaboration.
