JUDGING JUDI
Taking a closer Look

This book has been fifteen years in the making. It is my personal challenge of dealing with medical doctors before I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Multiple Chemical Intolerance (CFS/FM/MCI).
Instead, I was diagnosed with the second most serious mental disorder Bipolar !, and forced on dangerous medications that exacerbated my symptoms, which put me further into the psychiatric trap, where I stayed for over two years, becoming very ill from side-effects of drugs. My complaints of physical symptoms of well known side effects of those drugs were not taken seriously.
I lost everything except my life, so finally I took my health in my own hands, discontinued all psychotropic medications and started the long journey back to the good health that I experience today, despite CFS/FM/MCI.
I filed a medical malpractice lawsuit, spent 55 days in the courtroom representing myself, but lost the battle when the Supreme Court of Canada did not accept my application for Leave to appeal.
I was sued for costs that lead to bankruptcy, but I still consider myself a winner as I lived to tell this tale and hopefully this book will be an inspiration to help others to deal with those misunderstood and debilitating illnesses.
One nurse wrote that this book should be recommended reading for all medical and nursing students to learn how not to treat patients when they are under their care.
